Antique Doll Houses

Whenever I think of antique items, two places come to mind: flea market and Ebay.

I love flea market because I can physically touch the item and check the condition before buying.

But when it comes to antique doll houses toy, I think Ebay is still a good place to start. Quite a few of antique Doll Houses furnitures for Sale on Ebay. They are antique but priced very low so it is a good bargain.

As usual I can find anything from antique doll house carpet to antique doll house secretary desk listed on this site. I realize that finding an antique item in perfect condition is not always possible. After years of use, there must be scratches, burns or any sign of damage on them that sellers do not mention.

So I have to find out about restoring antique doll houses before purchasing an antique doll house from Ebay or flea market. I figure that restoring antique doll houses would be easier than restoring antique doll houses furnitures.

The reason is that furnitures are moved around more often than the doll house itself. So it is more convenient to buy new doll house furnitures to replace the damaged antique ones rather than restoring them
